Hello everyone!!

I am very excited to walk with you and grow with you in ministry at APCH. I come to The Hague from sunny Pasadena, California, which is close to Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles. I am originally from a small town in Wisconsin and my family currently lives in the Arizona desert. I have lived all over the United States and am now enjoying the culture, beauty, and even the rain (sometimes) here in the Netherlands.

I am a member of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and earned my Masters of Divinity through Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena in 2003.

Before coming to seminary I served in full-time ministry as Children’s/Youth ministry coordinator/Urban Missionary, at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Spokane Washington and as a high school pastor at 1st Presbyterian Church in San Antonio Texas.

Throughout seminary and after, I served as an urban youth director at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena CA, as a worship director and youth/young adult director at San Gabriel Presbyterian church in San Gabriel CA, and as a worship leader at Village Presbyterian in Ladera Ranch CA.

Besides ministry experience I come to APCH with a love for music and a passion to grow as a songwriter, musician and worship leader.

After graduating from seminary I decided to take a break from full-time church ministry to focus on song writing/performing/and recording original music. Throughout those years I worked as a part-time music director/musician in various churches and as a sound/media technician while focusing on music. This path led me to perform throughout California in venues as varied as church worship services, music festivals and bars/clubs. I also produced three CD's of original music during this time (available at: www.chriskochmusic.com) and have a new CD of devotional songs set to be released in the Spring of ’08.

Here at APCH my main tasks revolve around contemporary worship and media, discipleship and Christian education for adults and children and general pastoral tasks such as preaching and pastoral visits. More than anything though, I am here to serve and grow with you. So please don't hesitate to grab me on a Sunday morning or give me a call during the week. Together we are the body of Christ and we are called to serve and uplift one another. So I want to be here for you and also learn from you as we serve the Lord together. God Bless you All !!
