Monitors income and spending. Prepares annual budget. Develops a culture of generosity at APCH.

 

Worship: Creatively plans and develops worship that are in alignment with the vision and mission of the church. Also oversees and coordinates the sacraments committee, lay readers, lay liturgists, ushers, seasonal music ensemble directors, children’s choir directors, sound and multi-media technicians, vocalists, special events coordinator, custodian (for worship events), flower ministry, those who oversee the maintenance and replacement of worship, altar supplies and worship materials such as hymnals, bibles, choir music and other supplies as needed.

 

Both the Adult Christian Education and the Youth Christian Education Committee help APCH members grow as followers of Jesus Christ. They oversee and plan the APCH small groups, Bible studies and Sunday school.

 

Helps APCH become a missional congregation. Raises congregational awareness for local and global needs. Coordinates volunteers for outreach projects.

 

Oversees and coordinates all APCH communications. This includes Website maintenance, APCHerald Newsletter, Church brochures, signage and social media. 

 

Ensures that our facilities are welcoming and in a good state of repair. Property management oversees the care for the church building, grounds and Manse I & II, manages office equipment and building use.

 

Helps guests feel at home at APCH. Through the introductory class called Starting point and personal follow they help you get involved and integrated into the life of our community.

 

Cultivates hospitality at APCH. Through social events, dinners, luncheons and potluck suppers the Fellowship Committee fosters a sense of community and facilities social interaction.

 

Come alongside youth and their families in the faith journey. Through youth groups, “Know what you believe and why” (our confirmation program) and activities, they help students discover that grace changes everything.

 

Nominations is the leadership engine at APCH. Recruit, train, connect and deploy all volunteers, servant leaders and council members.
